Specialist for the British Short –haired Cats
Breeding Station Ro-Sche
I have founded the breeding station RO-Sche
in 1992. I am the member of the international
breeding organization FIFE and of the Prague
cat breeding club CBCN. My way to the breading
was not direct. When my daughter was 10 years
old, she wanted a dog. We live in the centre
of the City on the 4th floor, without a lift.
Thus it seemed to be a very difficult affair
as for a biped as for a quadruped. After long
discussions we decided to have a cat.. After
many adventures with rather not very clean kittens
we were obliged to send them to the country
and we bought our first cat with the pedigree.
It was the British cat Blue Betty Jo Po. We
have been remembering her till nowadays. Betty
was a wonderful pet. She was very clean and
friendly. She left us in 2006. Having her first
kittens I decided to devote to the breeding
of the British Blue Short-Haired Cats. We bought
the tomcat Elvis Blue Castelo from Mrs.Lone
Lund in Danemark. He was a robust friendly tomcat.
He won the titul EC. He never covered Betty.
I was searching for a cat of a good type. I
bought from Mrs. Kerstin in Sternstein from
a breeding station Vom Wernerwald .de a blue
cat Tizi Blue. She doesn’t like to caress. She
is a reticent lady. We love each other very
much. When Elvis died, I covered with Xenon
from Mrs.Czechova and I kept Kamilla Lila from
this litter. She is amazingly friendly cat and
maybe a professional mother. She is able to
suckle any kitten and to suckle until her last
gasp. And she always looks in conformity with
that. I got a little blue tomcat from Mrs. Annemarie
Triler from the breeding station Fichtenthal.de
He didn’t reach the robustness of Elvis, but
he excelled him in type. His head is fantastic.
Our youngest blue cat Valerie v.Fichtenthal
from the same breeding station as Nicholas had
problems with the kittens with Niki. I was searching
for a suitable non-related tomcat. It was not
easy. Finally with the interpreting help of
Mrs.Weigova I have bought our youngest tomcat
Ebby Sun Van’t Hof Ritthem.nl in Holland. Ebby
Sun is a sweet blue tomcat who will be probably
as robust as Elvis.
We feed mostly with the pet food in our breeding
station. We are very satisfied with it. Nevertheless
our cats love also a lot of raw beef and turkey
meat .
The kittens leave for their new homes after
13 weeks, vaccinated and free from worms.
I like keeping contacts with the new owners,
to follow the development of the kittens and
I am always ready to give advice.
